Seeking responsible and caring nanny to join our family (c.18 hours per week with option for more).
We have previously had long-term nannies over the last 8.5 years and are seeking a nanny to care for our children in Seaforth. We are an easy-going family with two very happy children with fun personalities. Our 9yr old girl and 5yr old boy are both very outgoing, love imaginative play, lego, books and making friends wherever they go! Both our children attend school locally.
We are seeking care part time, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday before school (7:30am - 9:00am) and after school (3:00 – 7:00pm), and Tuesday before school (7:30am – 9:00am).
There will be opportunity for additional days and/or evenings as mutually agreed, for example Tuesday after school.
The role may suit someone with other work or study commitments or who prefers not to work full time.
During school holidays if you are interested in additional work that’s great or we can always do vacation care, for example a full day Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and Friday 7:30am – 3:00pm.
We would value a long-term carer for our children who has a passion for helping them develop and grow. Someone who is energetic and likes to get out and about. We would like someone with good communication skills and that will also reinforce appropriate boundaries and good manners. Previous experience as a nanny will be looked upon favourably but is not essential.
The role will involve cooking meals for the children, tidying up after activities/meals, school pick up and drop off, assisting with homework and taking children to other activities e.g. swim lesson (your own car would be required, fuel paid). The role will also involve occasional light housework such as food shopping, washing & cooking meals.
