We are seeking an experienced nanny/household manager to help care for our 2 daughters (a 7-year-old and 5-year-old) on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Total of 17-hours per week.
We have had long-term nannies since the eldest was a baby.
Details are as follows:
○ Days: Monday to Wednesday
○ Hours:
§ Monday: split shift 7:00am-9am & 1:30pm-6:30pm (7-hours)
§ Tuesday: 1:30-6:30pm (5-hours)
§ Wednesday: 1:30-6:30pm (5-hours)
§ Additional hours when parents are traveling for work e.g. full days or mornings, and we always offer our permanent nannies any additional babysitting hours etc.
○ Total: 17-hours per week
○ Pay rate: $38-40 per hour (negotiable, depending on experience of the candidate).
○ Start date: 27 July 2026 (negotiable on start date for the right candidate).
○ Our 5- and 7-year-old daughters both attend school every day and need to be dropped off/picked up - we will supply a car.
○ Driver’s license is essential for school drop offs/pick-ups (family has a car for the nanny to use).
○ Minimum 12-month commitment with a view to being longer term.
○ Nanny duties include sole care of the children while both parents are working, children's meal planning, cooking, planning children's activities/outings and supporting their development.
○ Household management duties include running the household in collaboration with the parents. In addition, running errands and light home duties such as laundry, emptying the dishwasher, shopping, cooking etc while the children are at school and daycare (we have a separate cleaner who cleans the house).
○ Must have experience with small children.
We are looking for someone who is kind, organised, fun and who demonstrates strong leadership skills, and attention to detail. My husband and I are both busy professionals, so we are seeking a nanny/household manager who is reliable and trustworthy.
The family also have a Burmese cat so must be comfortable with cats.
