Seaforth (Morning & Afternoon Help)

We are a friendly and busy family based in Seaforth looking for a reliable and caring part-time nanny/babysitter to help with our two young children during weekday mornings and afternoons.

Our kids are Scarlett (3) and Matthew (1) – two happy, energetic little ones who attend our local daycare in Balgowlah.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone to assist with the daily routine:

Morning (approx. 6:00–6:30am start until 8:00am)

Help get the kids up and ready for the day

Breakfast and morning routine

Drop-off at daycare in Balgowlah by 8:00am

Afternoon (4:30pm – 6:30pm)

Pick up both children from daycare at 4:30pm

Spend time with them playing and winding down from the day

Start preparing or serving dinner for them

Care for them until we arrive home around 6:30pm

Both my wife and I work full-time professional roles, so reliability and consistency are really important for us.

Flexibility

Due to the nature of our work, there may occasionally be opportunities for extra hours on certain days or weekends, so someone with a bit of flexibility would be ideal.

There may also be the odd occasion where we require overnight assistance if both of our work schedules clash and we’re unable to be home. These situations would always be discussed in advance, and we also have family close by who can assist if needed, so you would never be completely on your own in those situations.

Location & Transport

Both children attend daycare locally in Balgowlah

We can provide a car with the appropriate car seats if required, or you’re welcome to use your own vehicle if preferred.

A little about our home

We also have two very friendly dogs – an Australian Shepherd and a Kelpie, so being comfortable around dogs is important.

Warm, caring and trustworthy

Experienced with young children

Reliable and punctual

Comfortable managing the morning and afternoon routines
