Hello families! My name is Elisa, and I am currently studying Early Childhood Education here in Australia.

With a strong background as a lead teacher for 3-year-olds in Korea and a deep passion for children, I bring warmth, professionalism, and dedication to every child I care for.

👶 My Experience

Former lead teacher for a class of 3-year-olds for 2 years in Korea

Selected by the centre director for outstanding portfolio documentation – my portfolios became the model example for other teachers, including those with 10+ years of experience

Responsible for creating comprehensive portfolios every 6 months, capturing each child’s holistic development

Took weekly activity photos (according to centre guidelines) and uploaded them to the kindergarten website — greatly appreciated by parents

Maintained daily communication with every parent through messages and daily notes, building strong and positive relationships

Children loved me deeply — every day I was greeted with hugs and “Teacher, I love you,” which made my work incredibly meaningful

🌏 Why I’m in Australia

I wanted to broaden my worldview and learn from a more diverse, multicultural environment.

In Korea, I once had a child who was half-Korean, half-Japanese — and it made me realise how much I wanted to understand different cultures better and support children from all backgrounds.

This led me to pursue Early Childhood Education in Australia, where I can learn theory and practice while growing as an educator.

Upper-Intermediate English certificate from a language institute

Work experience in Australia communicating with native speakers without difficulty

Beginner–intermediate German (speaking, listening, reading, writing)
