Meet Freya: A nanny and babysitter in East Ryde, NSW

Hi there! my name’s Freya. I am a 23 year old Nanny/Babysitter in the Ryde Area. I would describe myself as fun loving, caring, attentive and responsible.

In terms of experience, I currently work at Ryde East Public School before/after school care, where alongside a team we care for primary aged children (K-6). Also after high school, I started as a casual educator at an Drummoyne Occasional Care Centre , looking after children ages 6 months-5 years. I fell in love with this role and was lucky enough to do my traineeship in Early Childhood Education and receive my Cert III. I was offered a permanent part-time role now moved to a casual role where I currently work as a casual educator.

I was also working as a nanny for a lovely family of five, twin girls aged 4 and the eldest boy aged 9, 2-3 days per week from October 2023 till December of 2024 due to the children’s circumstances and transitioning into primary school. Over the years I’ve also done babysitting jobs to help out families on weekends and during the week, which I still continue to do for various families.
