Meet gabby: A nanny and babysitter in Turramurra, NSW

Hi! My name is Gabby, I'm 19 and would love the Opportunity to contribute positively to you and your Family, helping out with whatever needs assisting. I recently completed a gap year in the UK, where I worked at an all-girls private boarding school in Cambridge. I primarily worked at the junior school as a teacher’s aide, supporting girls aged 3–11, including assisting students with learning difficulties, helping with sports, and supervising playground activities. Alongside this, I worked in the boarding house caring for girls aged 10–19, where my responsibilities included morning routines, serving meals, attending to medical needs, laundry, organizing weekend activities, supervising trips into town, and taking students to appointments. This experience helped me become responsible, adaptable, and confident in caring for children of all ages. One of the many highlights was taking the time to get to know students individually which was especially valuable because it helped me to understand each student’s strengths, challenges, and learning styles. Overall this has sparked my interest to study Primary Teaching and hope to start practicing later on this year. I genuinely enjoy working with children and being a positive part of their growth and daily lives. I find it rewarding to help kids learn, feel safe, and have fun in a supportive environment. I’m patient, responsible, and caring, and I enjoy engaging children in activities like reading, playing, and helping with routines.
