Meet Luna: A nanny and babysitter in Dee Why, NSW

Hi, my name is Dayan Luna.

I have over two years of experience working closely with children in both swimming instruction and after-school care settings. I’ve taught swimming to children with disabilities aged 2 through to young adults, helping them build confidence, independence, and important water safety skills. This role has strengthened my patience, adaptability, and ability to work one-on-one with children of different needs and personalities.

I’ve also worked in after-school care with primary school-aged children, supporting them with activities, routines, and creating a safe, positive space after school. Building trust with both children and parents has always been important to me.

I am currently studying fitness and nutrition, which reflects my interest in health and wellbeing.

I understand how important it is to feel confident in the person caring for your children. I am responsible, calm, and attentive, and I prioritise safety while still making sure kids feel comfortable and supported.
