Meet Alexandra: A nanny and babysitter in Carss Park, NSW

I’m a third-year Psychology (Children and Families Studies) student, balancing study and gaining practical experience working with children and families. My academic work has strengthened my understanding of child development, guidance, family dynamics and cultural competence, while my time at KUMON showed me how meaningful it is to support children as they grow in confidence and independence. I enjoy creating calm, engaging environments that encourage curiosity, safety and positive learning. Outside study, I love coastal walks—especially around Ramsgate—plus journaling, colouring and puzzles, which help me stay grounded.
