Meet Verity: A babysitter in Dundas, NSW

Hi, my name is Verity ! I have been babysitting since I was 16 and have worked with various ages and families. I am currently studying psychology at Macquarie University and have obtained my first aid and anaphylaxis training as well as my WWCC. I have experience with children with ASD levels 1-2 and learning difficulties such as ADHD and dyslexia. I would describe myself as loving, patient, diligent and committed to achieving the best for your children. I am upbeat and engaged while I carry out the following duties;

• Communicating positively with children and guardians.

• Organising and cleaning the home after activities by picking up toys and

straightening up the playroom.

• Preparing healthy, age-appropriate snacks and meals.

• Assisting children with homework assignments and special projects

across different subjects.

• Balancing playtime and limited screen time to support

fine motor, gross motor and cognitive development.

• Supervising children engaged in physical activity, learning and social

skills with peers.

• Promoting language development skills through reading and

storytelling.
