Meet Megan: A nanny and babysitter in Bondi Beach, NSW

Hi!

Im Megan, a 27 year old nursery and primary school teacher from the UK. I will be arriving in Australia on a WHV in July and will be hoping to stay for at least 12 months. I have two university degrees (Psychology and Primary Education) and I have been a Reception class teacher (pupils aged 4 and 5) in the UK for the last 3 years. Prior to this, throughout my studies, I worked as a key member of a care team providing educational and social support for a beautiful little boy who was non verbal, autistic. I am extremely sporty and enjoy spending time outside and in nature exploring as much as I can. I have a Level 2 swimming teacher qualification and in my spare time have coached the local swim team development squad (children aged 8/9/10) and provided 1-2-1 swimming lessons for children ages 3 onwards. I currently have a UK DBS certificate ensuring that I am safe and able to work with vulnerable groups and children but would also be more than happy to complete a WCC qualification once I arrive in Australia. I currently also have a Level 3 paediatric first aid qualification.
