Meet Vanessza Anna: A nanny and babysitter in Parramatta, NSW

I’m Vanessza from Hungary, currently staying in Sydney on a Working Holiday Visa, and I have a lot of experience working with children. I volunteered at a kindergarten in Poland for six months and worked as a Hungarian folk-dance teacher at a primary school for one year, teaching groups of children aged 6–14. I have also occasionally babysat for families I know and worked for a Russian family in Hungary for one month, caring for their children almost every day.

I genuinely love spending time with children, and working with them brings me a lot of joy. I believe children should be approached with patience and understanding and treated as individuals with their own personalities, thoughts, and desires. I always aim to create an environment where they feel safe, heard, and free to have fun and learn.

My hobbies include drawing, painting, dancing, singing, and playing a little guitar and piano. I’m also very creative when it comes to inventing games and activities. My main languages are Hungarian and English, and I’m gradually improving my Japanese.
