Meet Ella: A nanny and babysitter in Cheltenham, VIC

Hi! I’m currently in my second year at RMIT, studying a double degree in Civil Engineering and Business. I’ve always had a strong passion for working with kids and teens. Over the years, I’ve gained extensive hands-on experience babysitting toddlers through to teenagers for a number of families, which has helped me develop a calm, patient, and adaptable approach to caregiving. In addition to regular babysitting, I’ve completed placements at daycares and have grown up as an older sibling to a brother more than five years younger than me. I also have an older sister with special needs, which has given me a lifelong understanding of the importance of tailored care and support. Outside of this, I’ve been actively involved in youth-focused organisations, including the Australian Air Force Cadets, and I’ve coached netball and volleyball for youth teams. These experiences have strengthened my leadership, communication, and nurturing skills when working with children of all ages.
