Newborn Care Specialist | Family Support Practitioner | NDIS Support

Hello and welcome,

Thank you for taking the time to read my profile.

I am currently welcoming new families Monday to Thursday for both short and long-term support.

Based in North Gosford, I hold my own ABN, have a current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, and can provide excellent local references.

A Calm, Nurturing Presence for Your Family

For over 20 years, I have had the privilege of supporting babies, children and families through some of life’s most precious and challenging seasons.

While I have extensive experience caring for children of all ages, my greatest passion is supporting newborns, premature babies, twins and multiples, while nurturing the wellbeing of the entire family.

My philosophy is centred around connection, compassion and respect. I believe every baby is unique, every parent deserves to feel supported, and there is no single “right” way to raise a child. Rather than asking families to fit a particular parenting style, I work alongside your family’s values and routines while always following safe, evidence-based practice.

I enjoy supporting families who value responsive, attachment-based care and believe that helping babies feel safe, connected and understood lays beautiful foundations for healthy development.

Alongside my Certificate III in Children’s Services, I completed specialist training through Newborn Care Solutions, becoming a Newborn Care Specialist. I am also Certified in Somatic Coaching, which has deepened my understanding of the nervous system, co-regulation and the importance of creating calm, emotionally safe environments for both children and parents.

Supporting Parents as Well as Babies

Becoming a parent is one of life’s greatest joys, but it can also feel overwhelming.

Alongside caring for your baby, I aim to be a calm, reassuring presence for you too. Whether that means listening without judgement, helping you understand your baby’s cues, building your confidence, or simply giving you the opportunity to shower, sleep or enjoy a hot cup of tea, I believe caring for parents is just as important as caring for babies.

Newborn & Infant Support

I can assist with:

• Newborn care from birth onwards

• Premature babies and multiples

• Feeding support and establishing gentle routines

• Understanding newborn sleep cues

• Gentle sleep shaping from around four months if desired

• Attachment-based parenting support

• Baby Led Weaning

• Responsive settling techniques

• Emotional support during the postpartum period

My goal is never to force routines, but to gently help families discover rhythms that feel nurturing, realistic and sustainable.

More Than Childcare, Helping Your Home Feel Calm Again

Sometimes what families need most is not only someone to care for their little one, but someone who helps lighten the mental load.

While your baby sleeps or enjoys quiet time, I am happy to assist with:

• Folding and putting away laundry

• Making beds and changing linen

• Emptying and loading the dishwasher

• Tidying the kitchen

• Sterilising bottles and baby equipment

• Vacuuming living areas

• General household tidying

• Organising baby items and nursery spaces

I love leaving a home feeling calmer than when I arrived, allowing parents to spend more quality time with their family rather than catching up on chores.

NDIS & Family Support

I also provide support to NDIS participants and families, including:

• In-home support

• Community access

• Respite care

• Household assistance

• Parenting support

• Companionship and emotional support

My experience supporting children and families through DCJ has further strengthened my trauma-informed and attachment-focused approach. It has deepened my understanding of child development, emotional regulation and the importance of creating environments where children and families feel genuinely safe, respected and supported.

About Me

I am a mum myself to two daughters aged 13 and 11 years old and understand the beauty, exhaustion and vulnerability that comes with raising children.

Families often describe me as calm, patient, intuitive, dependable and nurturing. My hope is that when I leave your home, you feel lighter, more supported and more confident than when I arrived.

Whether you are welcoming your first baby, navigating life with multiples, seeking NDIS support, returning to work, or simply needing an experienced and caring extra pair of hands, I would be honoured to support your family.

I would love to hear from you if you feel I may be the right fit for your family.
