Meet Amelia: A babysitter in Lilydale, VIC

Hello, my name is Amelia! I am currently in my third year of studying the Bachelor Of Early Childhood And Primary Education, which will qualify me to teach children aged 6 months to 12 years. I have obtained a working with children's and police check. Recently, I completed my first aid certificate (HLTAID012 - Provide First Aid in an education and care setting) with Life Saving First Aid. This certification covered first aid and CPR, including anaphylaxis management for infants, children, and adults.

Additionally, I have practical experience in caring for young children, as I have been minding my nephew since he was 6 months old, taking care of activities such as changing nappies, feeding bottles, lots of play time and putting him to sleep.

For transportation, I have a car seat suitable for children aged 0-4 years. Moreover, I have recently completed 4-week teaching placements in both a 3-year-old kinder setting and primary school setting further enriching my experience in early childhood and primary education. I am excited about my upcoming placement in December, where I will be working with infants.
