Meet Karis: A nanny and babysitter in Balwyn, VIC

Hi, my name is Karis. I’m 22 years old and currently living in Melbourne while studying Accounting with a major in Marketing at La Trobe University. I grew up in Shepparton on a family farm with my parents and three siblings, which taught me responsibility, patience, and a strong work ethic.

I’ve been babysitting almost full-time since the end of 2022 and have experience caring for children across a range of ages. I also helped raise my younger siblings and spent my gap year working at Greater Shepparton Secondary College, which strengthened my ability to support and engage with kids in different settings. I hold a valid WWCC and First Aid certification.

I used to play sport growing up and absolutely loved it, and now I enjoy cooking, spending time with friends and family, and watching the footy (Go Tiges!). I’m enthusiastic, caring, and reliable, and I always aim to create a safe, calm, and fun environment where children feel supported — and parents feel completely at ease.
