Meet Zara: A nanny and babysitter in Ocean Shores, NSW

Hello,

I am a registered school teacher who has recently moved back to the area from the Coffs Harbour/Bellingen region. I’m currently looking for up to two days of work per week to supplement my casual teaching.

I’m in my late 30s and have experience nannying children aged one to five, along with ten years of teaching experience across both primary and high school.

I’m also a proud aunty to my darling nephews, aged four and six. I’ve had the privilege of living close to my brother and sister-in-law and have spent a lot of time with my nephews during these early childhood years.

My values centre around family, health, the arts, communication, integrity, and community.

My partner and I recently moved to Ocean Shores, and you can most definitely find me walking on the beach every day. I’m also an artist, a dancer (my main teaching area), and a massage therapist. I’m highly organised, love cooking, and have experience in retreat catering and event management. I’m a multidisciplinary person, inspired by learning, creating, and growing, all qualities I believe are important to foster in our little ones.

Astrologically, I’m a Cancer sun and moon, and these nurturing, caring traits deeply support my work as a nanny, especially when coming into a home with sensitivity to the unique needs of each family unit.

Being a school teacher all my first aid, anaphylaxis, fire safety and child safety certificates are current.
