Meet Zara: A babysitter in East Lindfield, NSW

Hello my name is Zara, and I am a 38 year old mature minded, responsible and positive Senior Early Childhood Professional with a Diploma In Children’s Services.

I have worked in the profession for close to ten years. I have cared for children in a nanny role (including live- in and with up to four children, sole charge in one family), as a babysitter and in a childcare service (especially with toddlers and preschoolers) since the age of twelve; from newborn babies until the age of six years old. I love children and am passionate about their learning, wellbeing and advocacy. I love teaching and love to share my curiosity, broad range of interests and general knowledge about the world with children. Children learn best through interest based play, adapted to their unique learning style. I posses and create many of my own resources and play experiences to facilitate this.

I value establishing warm, strong, responsive and consistent relationships which serve as a foundation for this learning. Furthermore I am passionate about healthy eating and living, including yoga.

I am currently available every evening for casual babysitting, except for Friday.

I am happy to undertake light housework. Wages are negotiable.
