Meet Dana: A nanny and babysitter in Manly, NSW

Hello families!

I'm Dana, I'm 26 and I'm from Italy. I am a motivated person with a deep passion for kids. I worked as an au pair within Au Pair in America (APIA) for two years. I first took care of three girls aged 2, 4 and 6 in Pennsylvania during my first year and afterward I took care of two kids (4 and 6 years old) in California. I have also worked as a live in nanny in Australia.

To describe some of my daily duties:

• I prepared and served daily meals, maintained the household and children's rooms clean, and developed and provided a safe and secure environment.

• I played with children, drove them to and from school, and helped with their homework.

• I coordinated various activities, such as art and crafts, baking, going to the playground, and bike rides. ) resolved any problematic issues, and assisted kids in the development of fundamental learning skills.

• Performed multiple other duties as required by parents

Once back in Italy, I continued babysitting, taking care of 2- and 4-year-old girls. I mostly spend a few hours during the day with them. I spoke English with both of them, since it was their parents' request. We were going to the beach, going for nice walks, and going to the playground. Due to the no-screen policy, I have consistently engaged them in outdoor activities, primarily.
