Meet Ayelen: A nanny and babysitter in Docklands, VIC

I am Ayelén Rodríguez, I am 37 years old and I have more than ten years of experience in art education with children. Currently in Melbourne I am working in the care of a two year old child, as a support worker with an elderly person and giving art workshops for a company called Art-Ish. Throughout my career I was dedicated to leading educational teams in different museums, creating educational content for children and diverse audiences, with an inclusive and accessible perspective. I came to Australia on a study visa which I recently upgraded for three years to study a Diploma in Community Services. I do not have a certificate in childcare yet, but I am more than willing to obtain one if it is important to any family. Personally, because of my artistic background, I have many playful and pedagogical strategies to work with children and I love to go outdoors, to parks and museums and even to play sports.
