Meet Lucy: A babysitter in Marcoola, QLD

Hi! My name is Lucy and I have been a primary school teacher for 8 years. I have done all year levels from Prep to Year 6. This year, I am taking a break from full-time teaching and am doing relief work a couple of days a week. During my studies, I did a lot of babysitting and am hoping to get back in to some casual babysitting during my year off. I am also happy for this babysitting to include tutoring if need be. My teaching experience translates to babysitting with the following: child supervision and safety awareness, positive behaviour management and clear boundaries, strong communication with children and parents, planning fun, age-appropriate activities, patience, empathy, and understanding of child development.

Due to my relief teaching, I will only be available for casual babysitting, as the days I work throughout the week often change.
