Looking for: Full-time, Part-time, Casual Babysitting
My name is Hannah, I’m 33, and originally from the Eastern Suburbs. I’ve spent the past decade working in child development research, specialising in autism and intellectual disability. I’ve just returned from the UK, where I worked at the University of Cambridge on projects supporting non-speaking autistic children. I’m starting a new role in the NSW public sector in February and am looking for temporary work in childcare between now and the end of January.
I’ve worked with children aged 3–16 for over 20 years. Before moving into research, I worked as a babysitter, a counsellor on school holiday camps (including camps for children with disability), a tutor, and as a disability support worker. During my PhD, I also ran hands-on neuroscience outreach activities for young children through Sydney Science Festival and preschool incursions.
I’m reliable, caring, organised, and genuinely passionate about helping kids learn, play, and explore in a safe and engaging way.
Available for babysitting or nannying now until late January 2026.
