Hi moms and dads!

My name is Alessia,I am 28 and from Italy. I have been in Australia for over 5 years, and working towards permanent residency. I am based in Bondi Beach and have a car.

I have over 12 years of experience working with children, as caring for them has been a big part of my life since I was a teenager, starting with helping my family back home.

I also worked as an au pair in the USA, looking after 9-month-old twins & a 4-year-old boy for a year. There was very little I didn’t do when it came to the kids’ care. I handled everything from meals and playtime to travel (including international trips) and daily routines.

Right now, I support two families (one with a 6month old boy, the other with a 2yo girl) on an ongoing basis and others casually. The children I care for range from 6 weeks to 9 years old, and I often work with families of up to three kids.

I recently started my own design business while doing casual and part time work :)

I hold a current Police Check, WWCC, First Aid & CPR for babies & children, a driver’s license, and I have my own car.

I’m warm and reliable. I love keeping children busy and happy. I am active and independent and because of that I enjoy and I am used to planning activities for the day or explore nearby areas. I am comfortable driving or taking public transport with children and exploring different neighbourhoods or taking them to a library, museums, playgrounds, or anything fun!

I currently work Monday to Wednesday, but my schedule is quite flexible for the rest of the week. I don’t mind last-minute bookings either, as I work from home and can adjust my hours when needed. While I’m fully booked for ongoing roles, I’m still available for short-term commitments and casual shifts from Thursday to Sunday.
