Meet Kara: A nanny and babysitter in Kensington, VIC

Hi parents, my name is Kara. I am 23 years old,  I’ve just recently finished nannying for a family 1 day a week and now have Wednesdays available (flexible with hours).

I currently nanny 2 days per week for a beautiful family with two young boys, the younger boy is 2 years old and I’ve been with him since he was born, as well as his brother who is 4 years old. I also work as an administrative assistant for my families business 2 days a week. As well as both the boys, I have also nannied for kids up to 7 years old. I’ve been nannying part time for 5 years and full time for 2 years, with this experience I am confident in my ability to care for kids of all ages. Prior to nannying, I worked as a qualified chef in a cafe, as I’ve completed a certificate 3 apprenticeship in Commercial Cookery, cooking is something I’m still very passionate about and I now run a small private catering business where I cater to weddings and various other events.

I am a fun, reliable and trustworthy babysitter/ nanny and I am able to provide multiple parent references which outline how much I strive to be a positive, energetic, stable, reliable and sensitive carer.

As part of being a nanny I will also be more than happy to cook meals for the family, do household jobs such as cleaning, washing and organising etc.

I currently hold a working with children's check, police check, first aid and cpr in education and care setting, drivers licence, and I am also pet friendly.
