Meet Courtney: A nanny and babysitter in Loganlea, QLD

Hey, I'm Courtney!

I have been working with children for over 26 years now, and love it. I have worked with children from 0-18 years (including additional, neurodivergent & dietary needs), in a variety of roles & positions including in childcare centers, as a private nanny, on a cruise, at a state high school as a international homestay co-ordinator, as an assistant/acting chef in educational setting kitchens, outside school hours care and vacation care and general babysitting at home and weddings. I not only have been on the floor, in rooms, kitchens, and as an educator, float, assistant cook, support staff, but have also been in management roles.

My qualifications include a Cert 3 in children services, first aid certificate in an Education & Care  (including asthma and anaphylaxis training), many many certificates relating to child development, education, play, child protection, safe sleep practices and more.

I am fun, warm, friendly and outgoing, yet reliable, hard working, honest and professional. I love music, and creating fun, inviting, safe environments where the child/children can learn, experiment, explore and develop skills.

I believe that children should be encouraged to learn and grow, to be the best versions of themselves in a warm, kind, nurturing, inclusive environment that is not only safe but fun and inviting, inclusive of all individual interests, needs, and developmental levels.

I am potentially looking for a full time nanny postion Monday to Friday (but open to other work including permanent part time & casual), with options which may include going on fun & educational outtings (e.g sensory classes, playgroups, library story times, the local park etc) as well as, extra curricular activies, appointments and home care & play, (to asisst with social interactions, skills, interested or other needs).

I also love pets and furry family members, and have previously house and pet sit.
