My name is Amelie, I’m 22 years old and recently moved from Germany to Ashburton on a Working Holiday Visa. I’m currently working as an au pair in the area and am looking for additional nanny or babysitting opportunities — both casual and ongoing.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and have verified experience working in a kindergarten, so I’m very comfortable supporting children of all ages. I also have a valid First Aid certificate and can provide a reference letter (in English) from a family I worked for in Germany. While I don’t have a Working With Children Check yet, I’m happy to apply for one if needed.

I have my own car and I’m also comfortable driving the family’s car if trips with the kids are part of the job. I love spending time outdoors, going on small adventures, and keeping kids active and engaged in fun, safe ways.

I’m open to caring for children of any age and any family size, and I’m available for daytime, evenings, weekends, public holidays, and even overnight stays if required. I’m responsible, warm, patient, and genuinely enjoy creating fun, safe, and calm moments for children.
