Meet Hope: A nanny and babysitter in Brisbane, QLD

Hello! My name is Hope, I am a 24 year old girl who has recently moved to Brisbane. I am a bubbly, easy-going person who enjoys a challenge. I am reliable and hard working, and I have always had a passion for working with children.

I studied Early Education and Childcare at college in Scotland before working in a private nursery as a senior leader in the 0-2 age room, 2-3 age room, and 3-5 age room. I then gained my degree in Primary Education also in Scotland. Both of these qualifications has come with many years of experience working, and developing positive relationships, with children of all ages, providing them with activities and lessons to keep them engaged and develop their knowledge and understanding.

During the COVID-19 lockdowns, I looked after a 1 year old boy for a family where both parents worked in critical worker positions. This has given me the experience of babysitting and caring for children outside of a nursery and school setting.
