Meet Courtney: A nanny and babysitter in Prahran, VIC

Hi.. I'm Courtney, I'm 38 years old, and I live in Prahran, Melbourne, I'm a certified yoga teacher- Bikram and Yin, and I also work as a theatre orderly and currently nanny for a wonderful family in Hawthorn with two boys- aged 5 and almost 2 . Although as of October 2025, my hours have taken to be transition care as the youngest moves to daycare..

I love nannying, and have done everything from night time hugs, baths, bedtime stories, to toilet training, and fussy eaters.. In 2017, I worked with a fabulous family of five, primarily taking care of their amazing four year old boy, but occasionally looking after his equally awesome older siblings, who are 6 and 8.. Prior to that, I worked for an equally lovely family for two years, starting when their children were 6 months and 2 years old.. Throughout 2018- lockdown period, I nannied for a wonderful family and their two amazing children who I witnessed grow up for 18-months/3 years old to starting school.

As mentioned, I'm also a certified Bikram yoga teacher, having been teaching for almost 11 years and practicing for 17, as health is such an important part of my life, and my students and my own practice have given me such joy, peace and stillness, it's always a learning experience.
