Meet Melita: A nanny, babysitter, and au pair in Melbourne, VIC

Hi, I’m Melita an Italian fashion designer. I’m 26 and I come from Trieste, a little Italian multicultural city on the east border, near Slovenia. Like most of the population, I’m bilingual, my dad is Slovenian and my mom Italian.

I studied and graduated in fashion design and I have also a master in graphic design and communication. After my second graduation, I started working for an Italian fashion brand as designer and I was creating collection for the luxury restaurant and catering world.

While I was studying in Milano, I was also working as au pair for a single mother and her 13 years old daughter. Everyday I picked her up at school and took her to various after school activities. Also when she needed I helped her studying and repeating for school tests, and with homework. Shortly we became friends. I’m cheerful, optimistic and very funny, but also creative and dynamic. But it doesn’t mean that I’m not serious, responsible and very organized.
