Creative: Having studied Graphic Design and being an artist and dancer, I can have heaps of fun with kids and teach them a lot about creative expression, painting, dancing, crafting, singing… the list is endless. Responsible+Fun: I have mastered the art of having fun in everyday activities like homework, cleaning, bathing, eating etc. as well as the art of remaining in control and aware of responsibilities when there is some serious fun going on. I helped a 13yr old boy get 80% for his Geography test by making studying a lot of fun (I learned a few things myself!) … the trick was I really found it interesting too. He was really proud of himself :) Patience+Energy: I have a huge amount of patience, and the energy required to play along.

Looking for: Full-time, Part-time, Casual Babysitting

I am currently taking a break from the corporate world, reconsidering my career and have chosen to get back into child care as a casual/contracting babysitter, nanny and/or au-pair.

I am looking at studying Psychotherapy, with the goal to move into Play Therapy and working with children.

Throughout my life, I worked with children on and off. Most recently I have been teaching Kids Yoga, and have developed my own Kids Yoga program. I also have experience working with children as a babysitter, an au-pair and have assisted at nursery schools back in the day.

I strive for personal integrity, clear communication, laughter, play, community and compassion. I love children and am always delightfully humbled by their unique view of the world. I find their love of life inspiring and love to explore and re-learn with them.
