My name is Emma and I am a 17 year-old high school student who is very eager to getting into the childcare industry when I graduate. I am about to commence a certificate III in Early Childcare Studies through a school based traineeship. Although I am 17 years old this does not dim my amazing babysitting skills and experience. I have over 5 years experience frequently babysitting with a reference provided. I also have my first-aid certificate and a blue card. On one occasion I was put in a position where I had to juggle two young children ages 1 and 3 whilst comforting their mother who was having extreme pains and calling 000. I dealt exceptionally well during this occasion looking after the 1 year old that only wanted to cuddle her mum which she was unable to do, as well as waiting outside for the ambulance and directing them inside.
