We are looking for a happy, reliable and experienced nanny to look after our 2 little girls, aged 3 & 5 years old after daycare / school. Our family is looking for someone to take care of our daughters Sophie (4 years old) and Ella (currently 10 months) on Thursdays (8am till 5pm) and Fridays (8am till 4pm). We live in a house in Annandale, within a short walk to the shops, library and parks.
Obviously we're biased but Sophie and Ella are both delightful little girls. Sophie loves sticker books, reading, going to the park, doing chalk on the street and playing make believe games. Ella is a very happy baby, constantly smiling and very interactive - she is on the move, and loves chasing her sister around.
Ella is a very good day sleeper - still on two naps (9-10am and 1-3pm - ish) during the day. During her big sleep Sophie has some 'quiet time' watching TV or listening to Yoto. We’re hoping that our carer can assist with basic housework (such as prepping/cleaning up the girls food, putting on a load of washing, or hanging out laundry) during this down time.
Currently on Thursdays Sophie attends acrobatics in Newtown at 11:15-12:15. Ella loves crawling around the space while Sophie is in her class. If we continue with this, you will need to drive the girls there and home, but we are not wedded to sticking with it if it's all too much.
We are an easy-going family, with no strict rules, or dietary requirements - we are just looking for someone loving and like-minded who will be present and treat our little girls as if they were their own.
Hourly rate will be between $30-35 an hour, depending on experience.

Hi there! Mum to a gorgeous 7yo girl, based in Alexandria. We're both working full time, and need help after school hours 3-6pm Tuesday and 330-600 on Wednesdays.
Pick up would be from school, and tbc what activities would be (will firm that up when she starts school) but it could play out like:
- picking her up to take to after school activities
- maybe she has a class onsite and you would need to pick up at 4, and ask would then be for you to perform some light household cleaning from 3-4
- potentially it may involve just taking care of her, taking her to park etc if no activity is on.
We sometimes also might ask you to pick her up plus one friend, as sometimes the parents in her class help each other out. If they were ever to happen it would always be only one kid - but just a heads up on that.
We are looking for some help with our lovely 2.5yo girl and 5mo boy. Would you be able to help with one or more of these jobs?
1. Once a week on a Tues, Weds or Thursday between 2-4pm, caring for my 5mo boy, so I can nap at home. (He's a very happy and fun boy, but he'll only nap in the carrier. I would love for someone else to be able to wear him for a bit so that I can nap at home horizontally!).
2. When my partner needs to work late, staying on from 4-7:30pmish to help me with both bubs. (The exact dates are TBC but we can confirm them with you soon.) That could involve: (once my 2.5yo is familiar with you, walking to her daycare centre in the city to pick her up and walk her home), helping me with putting dinner on the table (very light cooking / reheating involved), eating with my toddler while I help my 5mo take a quick nap, cleaning up after dinner with my toddler, helping my toddler prepare for bed. I'll be at home for all of it so you won't be solely responsible for both of them.
3. We also need light kitchen cleaning help for roughly 30 mins after dinner on Sunday-thursday nights. We offer $40 for this

We are looking for a regular weekly nanny to sleep over twice a week (on Wed and Sat night) at a lovely, modern, secure unit in Killara to care for 2 well-behaved children aged 7 (boy) and 9 (girl).
The job is regular and ongoing every week and entails:
- collecting the kids from school in Killara (5min away) every Wed by 5pm, getting them to bed, bath/homework etc., sleeping over, and taking them back to school on a Thursday by 8am.
- Caring for the children on a Saturday night from 5pm overnight until Sunday 2pm.
- Some light housekeeping/tidying up as needed. We would expect you to take initiative to keep the unit clean and tidy while you are there, put washing in the machine, tidy kids toys, take rubbish outside to the bins, make sure the kitchen / bedrooms are tidy, a quick vacuum on a Sunday morning etc.
Total weekly payment would be a fixed amount of $600, paid every Monday.
This is based on an hourly rate of $30 for working hours and a flat $90 rate for overnight where you will have no responsibilities and can just sleep/work/study/netflix/relax etc. once the kids are in bed. This works out at $210 for Wed nights and $390 for Sat nights.
The days/hours would be regular and ongoing and generally not change although there may occasionally be some flexibility needed depending on the week or during school holidays, Xmas time etc. There will also be an opportunity for additional ad-hoc babysitting hours / school pick-ups/drop-offs at other times during the week (if you are available) at the hourly rate.
Bedtime is 730pm and they should usually be asleep well before 830pm, so you would usually have no duties at all overnight. If they happen to stay up a bit later or are unsettled / sick on any particular night (which seldom happens so would be exceptional) then that is part and parcel of the job and included in the weekly rate. Equally if we get home early or you need to leave early in exceptional circumstances, then we will also be flexible and there will be no reduction to the weekly rate.
You need to be reliable, mature, responsible, and have your own car. A positive outlook, willingness to engage with, put effort in, and build trust with the kids is essential. No boyfriends / partners or other visitors may be in the unit when you are caring for the kids.
You will find us easy to work with, flexible and grateful for your help. In return, we’d ask for the same.
An immediate start is preferred with an initial trial of a few nights required to make sure you're a good fit with the kids and vice versa !

We require the applicant three days a week Mondays, Tuesdays 2-3hrs in the morning (0700-0900) and afternoon (1500-1800) to do the kindie/school drop off/ pick up for all three children and all day with the 2yo on Thursday.

Our son is a funny, highly intelligent and warm hearted teenager who experiences daily challenges due to his ASD and ADHD diagnosis. He is highly verbal and often enjoys in depth conversations. He can at times become highly anxious and require support to manage his concerns. He has no physical disabilities. Essentially, our son requires help with daily organisation, meal preparation and outdoor activities. He attends school via correspondence and requires significant support in managing his daily tasks and overall school workload including assessments. He needs assistance and supervision when logging on for exams.
Our son is a fussy eater who is working towards independence when making meals, therefore meal preparation is required as well as teaching our son how to cook his own food. Daily exercise is critical, however he often resists this and so a supportive approach is best here.
Light household cleaning will be required such as cleaning dishes from the day, putting out a load of washing and ensuring our son's room is tidy. At the end of the day, the living area of the home needs to be left tidy.
Candidates must have an interest in working with neurodiverse teenagers. This role requires someone who is patient, kind and genuinely enjoys the company of teenagers. This role suits someone who has previous experience working with neurodivergent teenagers and/or might be studying psychology, social work or teaching at university.
