My name is Immy! I am a fun-loving, compassionate, and deeply empathetic person with a genuine passion for working with children! I possess a strong ability to engage young people of all ages, whether it be through inventing new games, arts and crafts, or educational play. I am well accustomed to helping around the house, from light to heavy house-work. I have a plethora of work experience with children from a range of backgrounds, including youth work, nannying, mentoring, tutoring, and foster-care, as well as sound knowledge of child psychological processes and development. Considering my knowledge and experience, I am also well equipped to care for children who may require extra attention or have additional needs! I hold a Bachelor of Arts at The University of Melbourne with a double major in Psychology (including early childhood development) and Anthropology, with a breadth track in Art Education. I also completed a Graduate Diploma in Creative Writing, and am currently studying a Certificate III in Horticulture with the hope of running therapeutic garden programs with children.
