We are an easy-going family with two happy, chilled and fun children. Our 4yr old girl is very outgoing, she loves pretend play, books, and making friends wherever she goes! Our 1yr old boy is equally chatty, loves tactile play with his blocks and dancing to music. We are seeking an experienced nanny to care for our children from mid-end of June (we’re flexible), three & a half days a week (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, and half day Wednesday from July onwards), with the possibility of additional days and/or evenings as mutually agreed. There may be some flexibility at the start around days/hours if you need to transition from another role, happy to discuss. ‬‬ We are a professional couple with fairly demanding careers so we would appreciate a level of flexibility i.e. swap days occasionally. Regular hours would be 7:30/8am - 6:30/7pm. Our daughter is in pre-school three days a week, ‪Monday to Wednesday and goes to school next year. You would be based at our home in Balgowlah Heights. ‬ We would value a long term carer for our children who has a passion for helping them develop and grow. We would like someone who has previous experience as a nanny and who has looked after children of similar ages. Someone who is energetic and likes to get out and about. We would like someone with good communication skills and that will also reinforce boundaries. The role will involve cooking meals for the children, tidying up after a fun day of activities, pre-school pick up and drop off and taking children to other activities e.g. swim lesson (your own car would be required, fuel paid). The role will also involve occasional light housework such as food shopping, washing & cooking meals. Our nanny has been with us for nearly 4yrs but is now going to start her own family.
