A mother of two. Grandmother to three. My strengths include my ability to be that extra pair of eyes and hands, to play and care for the kids and using play as an education tool, clean the house (non toxic cleaning products utilised), cook nutritious food for the family, declutter, home office administrative work, etc. I’m flexible and I’m available. I also hold that it takes a ‘Community to raise a child’ and I don’t believe we need to hold all the balls in the air. I look forward to meeting you and your family. Active and fit. I am a responsible, empathetic, compassionate and nurturing carer for all ages (including the oldies if you have them living with you). I have a Complementary Health background and Am proactive in the Community. For the locals, I coached Kindygym and Gymnastics for four years with Springwood Boys and Girls Club. I hold current certificates in First Aid and Mental Health First Aid. I have my Police Check, Working With Children Check and Drivers licence. I have commenced supporting a number of families in our community on a casual basis which includes roles such as Disability Support Work, Child Care to children with special needs, Cleaning for NDIS clients, Educational and Recreational support, Adults (vision impaired and Autism spectrum) and some transport to enable access and involvement into the community. Interestingly, I currently have three families with special needs children that I am supporting by way of building a relationship to the children through interactive play creating vegetable and flower gardens.
