Growing up as the eldest of five kids on a dairy farm meant there was always someone or something to look after! It’s where I first learned the joys (and woes ;)) of caring for children, how to thrive in organised chaos, creating fun in the everyday, and getting your hands dirty.
I’ve been babysitting since 14 and have extensive experience caring for families and children from 3 months – 17yrs old. Including; managing daily care and routines, hygiene, activities, education, transportation and errands, household tasks, cooking, cleaning, and tutoring.
I’ve currently paused my Master’s in Clinical Psychology to explore other directions; however, my academic background means I have an advanced understanding of infant, child, and adolescent development, behaviour, and wellbeing; and enables me to bring empathy, patience, and evidence-based understanding to my caregiving.
I’m trained and skilled in supporting people with diverse psychological and neurodevelopmental needs, and pride myself on being calm, compassionate, and adaptable in any situation.
I love fostering supportive environments through child & domestic care that enable families to thrive. I’m warm, engaging, caring, and creative, and (not to toot my own horn!) I’m also a pretty great cook and baker. If I sound like a good fit for your family, please reach out! :))
