Hi, my name is April and I am 21 years old. I am in my final year at university as a student paramedic and have previous babysitting experience. I really enjoy spending time with children and believe that I have a fun and bubbly personality which allows me to connect with children of all ages. As a student paramedic, I am first aid trained and have significant paediatric training, as well as experience working with an array of individuals with disabilities. I love spending time outdoors as well as cooking, and I hope to incorporate that into my babysitting role. I completely understand how important it is to find a babysitter that you can trust with your child, so please feel free to ask me any further questions to see if I am the right fit!

Thank you for your interest and consideration on me. My name is Miluska, I have qualified and formal education and experience in Special and Disability Education (also Community Welfare and Aged Care). I am a teacher (Bachelor Degree) for children with special needs (in Perú we named it: "Special Education Teacher"); also Nanny/AuPair with several and wide capacitation, trainning and experience (covers CPR, pool lifesaver, basic physical rehabilitation, first aid, pets care; activities as handicraft, bakery and others). I would like to work with babies, pre-kinder children and toddlers but on my among previous tasks and experience I have had the opportunity to take care children up to 12 years old. Everyone is unique and important besides,my background makes it possible and that makes me feel happy, confident and sure about my vocation and love for teaching and sharing with children every day. Prior to my arrival to Australia in 2007, I’ve been working as a Teacher of Special Education in Lima (Peru), focusing in early stimulation, behavior development and rehabilitation; as well performing as volunteer with several institutions like Association of Special Olympiads of Peru (for 9 years). I believe that my teaching experience (as a specialist helping and educating children and young people suffering from Autism and Down syndrome) has provided me with invaluable insight into interpreting the learning and emotional needs of individuals in general and specially babies and toddlers. I received my Diploma IV of Community Welfare in Community Services in April 2010 and Certificate III of Aged Care in December 2010 and as part of my studies in Australia, I completed a number of placements at aged care facilities, including Sacred Heart Mission and Hambleton House. As well, I’ve been performing job positions working with babies and toddlers for long periods of time. I would like to meet you and show you my patience, kindness, strength, dedication and energy that I could share with your children and with all of you. I feel that the basis for a teacher/ nanny and/or aupair is always a professional point of view. I am peruvian and actually living in Victoria (but my grandparents were from Czechoslovakia and Germany, so educated in both ways: with responsibility and affection). I would like to have the opportunity to meet you and demonstrate you the type of person that I am. Among many other things I can teach your children spanish, handicraft, pastrymaking, etc. Please, allow me to introduce myself to you and try to know me. Kind regards. Miluska Dusek

Hi, my name's Bec, I'm a support worker with Mabel. I worked for five years in before and after school care - planning, organising and facilitating activities. I left there to become a nanny for one of the families. Which included picking up the children from school and trust with the keys to their home. I'm a mother of a sixteen year old and I care for my niece who has been diagnosed with Autism (non-verbal at this stage). These points are not in order of importance or are they? Hmm... I'm an Essendon fanatic. In these tolerant times, I will care for children who barrack for other teams but we will have to work on it ;-).

Hi, my name is Elizabeth O’Neill. I am currently a dental nurse at a private practice in altona north. I just left my job of 2 years at the Royal dental hospital of Melbourne. I have a strong passion for caring for children, I have developed these qualities from my experience as a dental nurse and a babysitter.Throughout my career I have I gained a significant amount of knowledge in childcare. In addition to my knowledge I have experienced a variety of different circumstances which have allowed me to develop further. In 2017, I was a part time babysitter for 3 year old girl named Emmy-Lou for just over a year. Both the family and I developed a strong relationship where I was able to provide them a flexible roster. Emmy-Lou was very anxious when parting with her parents and she would become very agitated. Immediately I was quick acting in thinking of ideas to distract Emmy-Lou from her parents being away. During my time with Emmy-Lou I would bath, change nappies, assist her with brushing her teeth, prepare her for bed and prepare food for her when she was hungry. During the day I would prepare activities such as painting, drawing, toy-play and other hobbies of hers. Additionally, I have worked in various departments at the Royal Dental Hospital including special needs and paediatrics. During my work in these departments I was quick to learn and work with children and special needs patients. During procedures I would ensure the patient was taken care of and all needs were met. I’d love for you to take me on board!

Hello! I moved to Melbourne nearly nine years ago from Canada to work as an au pair. I have over fourteen years of experience caring for children from as young as newborns to children older in age. I completed the Babysitter’s course at the age of twelve and my years of experience began at a young age by caring for family friends children as well as my younger brother and sister who are twelve and ten years younger than me. I worked as an au pair and nanny during my first couple of years here and just a few years ago for five different families, both here in Victoria and in Western Australia. I then based myself in Melbourne while travelling to many countries over the next couple of years. Upon settling back into Australia more permanently I spent a year and a half in Byron Bay to complete eight-hundred hours of yoga teacher training. Since I finished the course I have been working as a yoga teacher and studying full-time. I continue to take yoga training courses to enhance my knowledge. Among the additional courses I have also been qualified as a family and children’s yoga teacher which I am very passionate about. I absolutely love working with children, being a positive influence in their life and being a person to help in teaching them important and meaningful practices like mindfulness and compassion. I enjoying cooking and am someone that cleans up as I go. I am able to take care of the children while ensuring household tasks are also taken care of.
