I'm a children's screenwriter based on the Mornington Peninsula. I wrote for a kids cartoon on Channel 7, and am obsessed with Bluey (maybe it's because I have a Blue Heeler rescue pup, but I'm not confident which came first). I love working with kids. I'm an uncle to five and I used to volunteer at the Royal Children's Hospital. Professionally, I have two years experience as a teacher's aid in childcare and over three years in after school care. I've nannied for five families [of two to three kids each (age range 4-11)], and am more happy to provide references. I also used to run the holiday program at the Australian Film Television and Radio School teaching digital animation and claymation for a similar age. I've adored all of my experiences but I mostly prefer nannying as it allows more one on one time to build trusting relationships with the families, and being able to be active, as well as creative with the kids. Having precious children to care for whilst working in order to give them the best opportunities life has to offer, has to be one of the most stressfull demands of our modern way of life. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at home with my three children who are now successful in their own right.
