I’m fully vaccinated, have my NDIS Yellow Card, First Aid & CPR, a recent Police Check, and my Blue Card is currently pending. I enjoy cooking simple, healthy meals and am happy to help with light housework to support busy families. Having one year of experience working with children, my experiences began with a new born from a 1 to 6 month period, this taught me how to be gentle, attentive, and confident with routines like feeding, changing, and settling. I’ve also had experience caring for older children aged 4–5. These experiences helped me understand how to support children at different stages of development and how important it is to be patient, creative, and attentive to their individual needs. Even though I’m still building experience, I’m responsible, gentle, and genuinely love working with children. About me - I work in childcare during the week only casual I have the weekdays/ weekends free to baby sit and look after your little ones while you go and have fun! As well as some days during the week I have been working in childcare for over 5 years as a group leader, I have my blue card and my cpr! I have had experience with every age group! Hi, I’m Kate, and I’ve been working with kids for several years now—something I genuinely love. Most recently, I was an OSHC educator, where I also handled the curriculum planning. I’ve led school holiday camps with CYC Burleigh, Mueller Church, and volleyball programs, and I’ve been a youth and life group leader. I have worked with ages 2 - 18 years old. I’m super passionate about sport, creativity, and making things fun. I really believe every child deserves someone who can help them grow, learn, and enjoy the process. I love encouraging children to find what they’re good at and helping them build confidence in those areas. I also volleyball coach for a school on Wednesday mornings and Thursday afternoons.
