We also have a German Shepherd dog. The ideal candidate would be someone driven, passionate, bubbly, caring with attention to detail. Must be dog friendly. Responsibilities include getting the 3 year old ready for daycare (brushing hair, help changing her clothes, serving breakfast etc and dropping her off to daycare). We are a family living in Samford Valley. We are seeking a nanny to care for our 2.5 year old and 1 year old boys (Jack and Charlie) when I return to work. The hours would be 3:30-6:30pm on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday (this time is flexible and can be negotiated for the right person). You would be required to pick the boys up from daycare in Samford, bring them home and give them dinner, bathe them and help with general tidy up. We will be home usually 5:30-6:30pm to assist. The position would start in January, however we would like the successful applicant to do some casual shifts before that date to get to know the boys and our home. We have 2 boys, ages 9 and 12. We are looking for a carer to help our family on an ongoing basis for approximately 4 hours a day, 5 days a week (Mon - Fri), split over the morning (e.g. approx 1.5hrs from around 7.45am-9.15am) and afternoon (e.g. approx 2.5 hrs from around 2.45pm-5.15pm). We are needing a carer to be able to do the morning routine with the boys and get them off to school, as well as pick them up in the afternoon, and supervise afternoon routines, which may also include taking them to after school activities such as sport and library on some days. We are needing someone that is also able to do some home management (loads of washing, folding, stack the dishwasher, wipe benches etc) and be able to help with some meal prep. During school holidays, it will involve taking the boys to meet friends, outings to events, playing board games at home etc. We expect to have a dog in late 2021/early 2022. We are looking for someone who is able to have fun and be engaging with the boys, but at the same time be able to be firm, fair and be able to discipline the boys in a positive way when their behaviour requires it. They are 2 funny, intelligent, respectful and kind boys - but at the same time they have the usual sibling rivalries etc. We are looking for someone who is trustworthy, reliable, organised and can take initiative, whilst still be able to keep to our preferences. We are a family of three young girls ages 5, 9 and 11 in the suburbs of Gordon Park and Newmarket. We are a family across two households so one week will be at Gordon Park and next following at Newmarket. This role is for an ongoing 10hr per week, Tues, Wed and Thurs after school 3-6pm with occasional additional work available. Own car/transport is required given duties include taking the kids to afternoon activities. Tasks include the afternoon school and activity run-around followed by evening meal prep, play and homework supervision. We are looking for a nanny who is capable of doing school pick up, homework, taking kids to sport, cooking dinner and cleaning up after the kids in the afternoon. I have 2 boys age 10 & 8 and our last nanny is leaving after 4 years because of an unfortunate clash with her Uni timetable. Boys are really good kids and old enough to be relatively easy just really need assistance with homework and generally taking care of them after school.

We are keen to find somewhere fun energetic and reliable who can pick up our 10 year old from school at Fig Tree Pocket by 4 or 4:30, bring him home to Ashgrove and keep him happy and entertained until mum gets home from work around 6pm. Some occasional assistance with his older siblings (boy 12, girl 15) may be required such as a local pick up or drop-off but they pretty much take care of themselves. The pay is $150/week for about 6 hours work plus your own travel time to and from.

I am looking for help with my 3 school aged children that would involve getting them from school each day and some after school activities where required. My children are 5, 8 and 10. I am a single mother that works full-time and so just need that essential help after school. It may also involve some dropping to school, and occasional periods on the weekends. Some help with the children’s homework would also be helpful along with some basic cooking, cleaning and washing of clothes. There will be times when I will need help over the school holidays for full days. We're a professional family in Woolloongabba looking for a babysitter to work 3-5 days a week (variable on a 4 week roster with some flexibility - averaging around 15 hours a week) for afterschool pickup with some transport to activities in the immediate area (car trips < 10 minutes as a rule), own car preferable but not necessary. We have two healthy happy children aged 12 in year 7 and aged 8 in year 3. School pickup is local and comfortable walking distance. The role includes meal prep, help with homework, boys washing 1-2 times a week, transport to activities and general tidying. If you would like more hours/longer shifts there is scope to extend to house cleaning, further washing (there's always more washing!) and dog walking. We both have variable work hours so occasionally would require you to finish later. There is scope for evening babysitting as well.
