We are looking for a reliable and caring nanny to join our family on a fixed contract. The role involves:
• Hours: 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Monday-Tuesday and Thursday
• Responsibilities:
• School pick-up for two children
• Engaging and entertaining the kids with fun, age-appropriate activities
• Ensuring a safe and supportive environment
Ideal candidate should be responsible, punctual, and love working with children. Previous nanny or childcare experience preferred.
Hi, I am Alanna and I live in Sunnybank Hills. We are looking for a kind and energetic carer to watch our two toddler boys (2 and 3 years old) for a few hours every Saturday morning. Tasks would mainly include playing inside/outside, reading with the kids and helping them with snack time.
We are looking for a nanny for our 3 year-old daughter. This is a full-time position from Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5:30pm starting from September. This position is through In Home Care as our daughter developed recurrent lung infections during her time at a daycare centre and she was medically advised to not attend anymore. She has been doing really well in the past 12 months since being out of daycare. Our daughter is a clear communicator, exceeding developmental milestones, very fun and loving, enjoys arts and crafts and playing at the park. We are located in a beautiful leafy suburb and have a playground located less than 100 metres from our house that she loves to visit. The ideal nanny would have a car so that our daughter could also do activities outside of the home intermittently for socialisation. Both parents work full-time out of the house and are easy-going.
Hourly rate is $40.30-$43.01 (L3) including super and the employment is through a service provider which means insurance and work cover are taken care of.
Given that this position is through In Home Care to allow us to obtain our child care subsidy, there are requirements for the position including:
- Have obtained or are working towards your Certificate/Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care OR
have a Bachelor teaching degree (early years or primary) and registered with the teaching authority board of the relevant state
- Be an experienced child care worker with at least 3 professional references.
- Have WWCC, Police Check, CPR and Level 2 First Aid
- Have a car & driver's licence
- Be willing to commit for at least 12 months
- Full working rights in Australia. (A range of visas may be considered depending on conditions and length of remaining stay - for example: visa 190 or visa 186.
Applicants with 417 & 462 visas need not apply.)
Please let me know if this position sounds like it might suit you so we can chat further!
We are looking for someone to help us out with our 3 year old daughter’s daycare drop offs and pick ups. We also have two sons but they catch the bus to and from school so you will not have to worry about them.
We would require someone to be at our place by 6:30am to take our daughter to daycare in the mornings on the days we require help and a pick up of around 4:30/5 in the afternoons
Because I have to commute and my husband works shift work, we do not have a consistent schedule but are able to give you four weeks' notice of when we would need assistance and what that would look like.
We would require 2-3 hours for each of the days we would need help (up to 1.5 hrs in the morning and up to 1.5 hours in the afternoon). Would this be something you would be interested in helping us out with? Please reach out if so :)
Thank you so much and looking forward to meeting you!
Want to have an impact in helping our daughter? Come and be part of our family. We have three wonderful girls and are looking for a carer for our eldest daughter Kasey who has special needs, a mild intellectual impairment and autism. Kasey has finished school and is currently exploring lots of opportunities on what the future might look like for her. She will need a 'village' to help her achieve this. We are still working her program out so flexibility for shifts is important but looking at half days . We have had great people before who have gone on to establish great careers from the experience and support we give. This role would suit someone in OT, nursing or education background but open to others. Great rates and reliable work for the right person.
I am seeking a nanny/house manager to manage the house 2-3 afternoons a week. This would involve:
- managing pick up and drop offs from school and sporting activities
- meal prep for the boys
- managing the washing and folding and general tidy of the house plus managing the groceries
I have a cleaner, so this role is to take general management of the house whilst I am at work. My husband and I travel with work, so we need someone to step in to make our life a little easier at home. I have 2 boys - 11 years and 14 years.
I am seeking someone who is proactive, patient with a good sense of humour and likes to take charge and tidy and organised.
We have had many amazing nannies and au pairs over the years and our recent one is returning to a corporate role after 3 years with us as of next week. I am flexible with days.
We’re looking for a full-time (38 hrs/ week) or part-time nanny (27 hrs/ week) for our 2 lovely children (toddler & primary school aged), located in Rochedale.
Rate: up to $35 - $45/hour depending on experience & qualifications (plus superannuation). Regular holiday entitlements apply (annual leave, personal leave, public holidays paid etc.) per employment contract. Higher rates for any work performed outside of 7am-7pm, Saturdays, Sundays & public holidays.
Full-time hours (days/ hours indicative & can be reasonably adjusted):
Monday, Tuesday and Friday – 8am – 4.30pm
Wednesday and Thursday – 2.15pm – 8.30pm OR
Part-time hours (days/ hours indicative & can be reasonably adjusted):
Monday, Tuesday and Friday – 8am – 4.30pm
We would love to welcome to our family a reliable, adaptable and trusted nanny:
- with recent and significant (>5 years) experience caring for 2 or more young children
- has a patient, observant, nurturing and creative personality
- has their own vehicle and experience safely transporting young children to/from school/activities (fuel reimbursed)
- is a professional nanny or has child care education/ certification (preferable)
- able to engage/ develop age appropriate learning/ fun activities
- respects the requests and choices of the parents
Finding the right nanny is of the utmost importance to us, and we believe that nannies are a much cherished and valued profession. Our family will always be respectful, grateful, welcoming and collaborative.
AGENCY ROLE
We are looking for an educator to look after 4 year old boy. He has special needs.
Thursday 8am to 4pm.
Must have qualifications in child care (Cert III or Diploma in Early Childhood Ed & Care or enrolled to study)
$35/hour
Hi, I'm a solo-mum by choice to an 8 mth old boy. I am a social worker and counsellor and am lucky to have some family who can occasionally be with him while I work from home roughly 2 days a week - however I'm in need of some back-up caregivers to help keep him safe and contented while I'm working with my clients and my family aren't available.
More often than not he's a happy little guy. He is crawling, getting into cupboards, walking himself along the furniture and taste-testing anything he can get his hands on so needs some good supervision! He truly is a delight and super cute (I might be biased). He loves singing, playing, books, baby-time at the library and time outside. He is breastfed and is enjoying exploring some foods.
Sometimes I may need only 2hrs help - other times closer to a full day. When I have more than 2 back to back appointments I make sure to schedule breaks so I can come and feed him/spend time with him in between. Where possible, I will do nappies.
Kindness, empathy and joy in being with babies are what I'm looking for - experience with babies too. Bonus points if you have knowledge of Circle of Security Parenting :) I'd love someone who could work with us regularly so he can be familiar with you. If the work coincides with a nap for bub, I'd appreciate some light housework (tidying toys/folding washing), but priority will always be baby :) Let me know why you want to work with babies, how you see your role as a babysitter, and whatever you think is important for me to know about you. Then, let's talk and see whether we might be a good fit. Thank you!
