Job Details: Part-time
We are looking for a nanny to come to our home in Dulwich Hill (near the Waratah Mills light rail) 1 - 2 days per week to look after our 15 month old son. He is a pretty cheerful and settled chap, who loves eating, playing at the park, and is thrilled with his new ability to walk!
My husband and I both work at Sydney Uni, and it is likely that one or both of us will be working at home each day in 2021 due to COVID, but have a separate study area so will be out of your way!
We can be pretty flexible with days and times - ideally 2 consecutive days between Monday and Thursday, and starting around 8am and staying until around 4pm. He currently naps for 1.5 - 2 hours from around 11am-ish. Some light housework and/or cooking would be very much appreciated!
We are both double vaccinated, and you would need to be double vaccinated and willing to follow COVID-safe practices. We are looking for someone friendly and fun who can help our transition back to work!
Our 18 month and 3 year old boys need a nanny on Thursdays (they attend daycare other days).
We will require anyone looking at the position to be fully Covid vaccinated.
During lockdown, both parents will also be working from home on Thursdays - so it'll be a squishy situation! But we will make it work.
During lockdown the hours will be 9-4pm. When we can return to the office the hours will be more like 8-6pm.
There will also be ad-hoc evening and weekend work available too.
Experienced family with nannies looking for an experienced, kind nanny to help with our family on Mon and Tue 8:15am - 5:45pm. Looking after 2.5yo boy (chilled energy, likes balls and scooters) during the day, taking him to the park, gymbaroo, pool. He doesn’t nap anymore but we still use the pram for walks.
After school for 6yo boy (full of energy! kind, Likes running, coloring).
Cooking their dinner after school and tidying up at end of the day.
*Obviously we’re all at home at the moment but usually both parents are at work 9-5ish. Parents are in charge of home schooling 6yo.
You must be 26yrs+ and have min 2yrs experience in Australia looking after small children, and can commit to at least the end of January 2022. I’ll ask for 2 parent references I can contact. Please email your CV to email@example.com.
You’re welcome to speak with our current or previous nannies who can vouch for how much we value this role in our family.
Both adults are fully vaccinated and we will only offer the role to someone also fully vaccinated by the start date.
I will only be able to respond to those we want to hear more from. 👍
My wife and I are looking for a carer for our 3 year old boy as our current (and wonderful) babysitter is moving out of the area. Ideally we're after someone who can 2-3 days p/week between 1-5pm (or thereabouts)
Our boy has been diagnosed with high functioning autism so it would be great if the applicant has some experience in this area, though it's not essential as he's more than happy just getting out and having fun at the playground and playing games at home.
He's a delightful lad and we can provide a character reference from our current sitter
Opportunity to care for our moderately autistic son after work. Zane is 20 years old, verbal and able to care for himself, he just needs supervision and his evening meal prepared. He needs to be picked up from Brookvale at 3.30pm on Mondays and Tuesdays; and picked up at 4pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays from Frenchs Forest; 2pm from Frenchs Forest on Fridays. Mileage can be claimed as an expense. Care is required until 6.30pm.
We are fine for him to be cared for in your own home or ours. This role is ideal for a parent looking to earn some extra money while caring for their own children.
We are all fully vaccinated for COVID.
We are looking for a baby sitter who can help out with the after school routine for my 2 amazing Children.
The kids are currently at Rozelle Public school, with my eldest daughter currently finishing year 6, and my son, in year 1.
Both kids love chilling out after school or running around at the park or going for a swim at Dawnies.
Please get in contact if this is of interest as we are looking for someone to help after we get out of lock down.
We have a almost 4 year old son who currently goes to daycare 5 days a week. We want to keep him at home while covid unfolds and we are after a fully vaccinated person. My wife will be working from home and we need our son to be looked after 5 days a week during the office hours, approximately 0900 AM till 1700 PM. He takes an afternoon nap of about 1-2 hrs during which his dinner planning is required. Most of the work is related to our son but a little help with house activities will be prfereable but not necessary. Also, if all days not available, we will consider 2-3 days per week but need consistency for at least 4 weeks minimum. Please share availability and interest. We live at Baulkham Hills, close to Norwest markettown shopping village. Atul and Sumedha
We are after an experienced nanny or child care educator to join our family a couple of days a week, taking care of our two girls 3 & 5. Our girls have had nannies in the past and attend a long day care. We have enjoyed a lovely friendship with our past nannies who we are still in contact with, but have both moved on from nannying to take care of their own families.
The right person for our family must be experienced in nannying or be a childcare educator and be willing to help around the house with light house duties (washing clothes, prepping occasional meals for the kids and tidying).
We are flexible with days and hours at this time, ideally wanting 2 x 8 hour days per week, but we are open to looking at different options.
Three beautiful children need after school/childcare pickup, homework, dinner prepared Mon- Fri during school terms.
School pickup is 2:55pm and finish time will be approx 5:55pm.
Organisation and attention to detail are a must in our busy household with lots of love and patience.
We are hoping this will be a long term position going well into the future :)

Job Details: Au Pair
We are looking for an au pair who is loving, responsible, energetic, fun and positive who will become part of the family.
I am looking for someone to help with our two young boys, aged 1 and almost 3. We also have a nanny who works four days a week, and the boys go to childcare on the fifth day. So they are well looked after, but I am looking for some help on three or four evenings a week for a couple of hours (plus occasional babysitting once they are in bed), getting up to the children if they wake at night (which is unusual) and for a few hours on each weekend day.
We would like you to help prepare healthy meals (that the kids will eat!), superficial tidying and occasional shopping and errands.
You would be in a lovely large terrace house in Rushcutters Bay, a two minute from the park and harbour. You would have your own level and good privacy. We would provide full board and $250 a week.
We have advertised the job for 6 months, but we are flexible, depending on how the arrangement works out.
The specific times we would need you to be around are:
Monday - none
Tuesday - 5.30-7.30pm
Wednesday - none
Thursday - none
Friday - 5.30 - 7.30pm
Saturday - usually mornings
Sunday - usually afternoons
In addition, we would need occasional babysitting, attending to the kids if (unusually) they wake up overnight, odd errands and shopping and some cooking.
We will sometimes need help outside of these times, for example if one of the boys is sick and can't go to school, or something else arises.
We would love to hear from you if you are interested.
