We are looking for a nanny two days a week for our 8 month old boy. We are needing someone who is available from 8:30am to 5:00pm (or 8:00am to 4:30) on Wednesdays and Fridays.
Please note we have another baby who'll be joining our family March 2026, needing nannying from 3-5 months old depending on how much parental leave we can get (with an increase in hourly rate for the care of two children of course).
Who we are looking for:
- Must love cats! We have two indoor-only girl cats. This job is not advisable if you have a cat allergy.
- Previous experience with infants is favourable, but we are also happy to provide all the guidance needed if you don't have the experience.
- We are hoping to build a long term relationship, as we feel consistency is best for our child/ren (and our cats).
Responsibilities include:
- Playing with bub and age appropriate activities
- Helping on the potty and doing nappy changes
- Putting bub down for naps
- Cleaning up any messes made by bub
- Feeding bub as per schedule provided (formula and solids)
- Doing bubs laundry and putting it away (washing machine and dryer, only his washing and not the households)
- Washing bubs dishes and storing them (we have a dishwasher with a sanitisation setting and a dryer/UV steriliser, some household dishes may be included as he eats off of the same crockery as us and we wash everything together)
- Preparing bubs bottles
- Tidying bubs room and play area
Requirements
- Working with children's check
- Proof of vaccinations
- Whopping cough vaccination booster (for protecting our upcoming newborn)
- Yearly flu shot
- Must have been vaccinated for COVID19 in the past
- Yearly COVID19 booster favoured but not required
- Willing to cover the cost of vaccinations and the WWCC should you not already have them. Willing to cover the cost of ongoing vaccinations.
To Note
- Mum works from home most days and dad works from home sometimes, so one or both of us will almost always be home. Grandpa ('GP' cause "Grandpa sounds old") is also over once a week usually on a Friday so you might have some extra "help".
- Our home has security cameras, the location of them all would be pointed out when you start.
- We have free visitor parking available onsite should you need it.
- Payment available to be made in cash or via bank transfer or Wise (this is up to you)

We are a family of four and a little cavoodle. I’m looking for a nanny once to twice a week for my 10 month old baby during the week. I’m flexible on the day and also the time, although ideally 10am-3pm would work best. I’m also flexible on the start date.
The main role would be to take care of my little one but some light household duties would be amazing as well such as folding clean laundry and wiping down surfaces and general tidiness.
My little toy cavoodle who is very friendly would be at home with you too :)
Hi, I am looking for a caring and reliable nanny to look after my 18-month-old daughter, Kaitlyn, at our home in Sydney Olympic Park. The role is for Mondays and Tuesdays during the daytime. Responsibilities include engaging play, preparing simple meals/snacks, and general care. We value someone who is patient, responsible, and experienced with toddlers.
I’m looking for a nanny to come to our home for a few hours per week to engage with my children in a hands-on, playful, and educational way. The ideal person will have a background in early childhood education and be confident setting up age-appropriate activities that support learning and development.
I’m after someone who can truly connect with the kids—playing with them, guiding them through creative and stimulating experiences like sensory play, basic science experiments, storytelling, and games. This role is more than just supervision; I’ll be home during this time, so I’m seeking someone who can take the lead in enriching their day through fun, purposeful play.
Eventually, once there is a mutual trust and connection, hours and days may increase.
It’s important to us to find someone with the right mix of skill and heart—someone who will make a positive and lasting impact on our children.
We’re a family of three based in Lane Cove with a four-month-old baby, and we’re looking for a caring and experienced babysitter to help out occasionally on Friday or Saturday afternoons/evenings.
We’re after someone who: • Has experience with infants • Holds a current Working with Children Check • Has up-to-date CPR/First Aid certification
This is a casual, ad hoc role—ideal for someone confident caring for young babies and happy to support a local family from time to time for a night out or a few hours of downtime. You don’t need to be based in Lane Cove, just willing to travel.
If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you! Please reach out with a bit about your experience and availability.

Seeking an experienced nanny/babysitter to work with our family on Wednesdays and Thursdays 7:30am-12:30pm. I have a 2 year old toddler boy who attends daycare on these days, and 6 month old twin boys.
I’m looking for a nanny/babysitter to help mind my twins while I do daycare drop off, run errands and then help me take them to their activities (sensory and swimming*).

Looking for a reliable babysitter to pick up two preschoolers in Naremburn, Monday–Friday, approx. 3:00–4:00pm, for the next 6 weeks only.
Duties: collect the (2x) kids from preschool and walk/drive them home. A parent will be waiting at home — no ongoing care required. Reference required. Driver’s licence helpful but not essential (public transport nearby).
Start: 8 September 2025.
Rate: $30/hr.
Please message with experience and availability.
About us & the role:
We’re a friendly family in Naremburn looking for an extra pair of hands with our happy, curious 2-year-old — who’s about to become a big brother! We’d love someone to join us for a few hours most days, with flexibility for morning, afternoon, or evening shifts.
The role is all about keeping our toddler engaged, exploring, and having fun — plus helping me out as I juggle life with a newborn.
It’s not essential but we’d love someone who speaks Spanish (so our toddler can learn) or French (I speak French with them at home).
Perfect for a local resident or student who can be flexible.
What you’ll be doing:
• Taking our toddler on outings and to activities (driver’s licence & clean record essential)
• Fun at home — crafts, building blocks, outdoor play, or whatever sparks his joy
• Helping with little tasks around the house related to our toddler (tidying toys, cleaning up after play/meals, kids’ laundry)
• Being my right-hand helper when I need to focus on the baby
About you:
• Warm, bubbly, and happy to help — you genuinely enjoy being around children
• Present and engaged — ready to get down on the floor to play and explore
• Happy to be an extra set of hands for a busy mum
• Flexible and willing to learn — experience with toddlers is great, but a can-do attitude matters most
Why this job is great:
If you’re a local or a student looking for flexible hours, this is a lovely role where you’ll become part of our day-to-day family life. You’ll make a real difference, have fun, and be appreciated — not just “fill a shift.”
If this sounds like you, send me a message with your availability, a bit about yourself, and any relevant experience.
We’re looking for a friendly and reliable person to help with our afternoon routine for our three lovely kids. (13,10,8) on Monday and Tuesdays 3pm-6pm.
You would collect our kids from their primary school and provide fun supervision for the afternoon. You would need to be able to make kid friendly dinners (eg spag bol, tacos), do a load of laundry and a bit of a tidy up.
We both work full time, and we're a bit disorganised as a family, so we need someone that likes things being in order, and can be proactive in helping out on that front.
You would need a licence and a safe car to drive short trips of 5km for school pick up, and to/from from netball.
Please get in touch if it sounds like a good fit. We hope to hear from you!
