Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi there! I'm currently looking for part-time/casual babysitting work. I have experience with children from 6 months to 17 years in both a babysitting and educational context. I have worked for 4 years as a teaching artist with InterACT English, a company that offers arts-based English immersion programs in high schools around Germany. I have also been the primary babysitter for families throughout the first years of their children's life. I have experience working with children with learning and behavioral barriers. I am a professionally trained actress and theatre-maker, therefore, am very confident devising creative games and enjoy all sorts of playtime :) I am patient and work well in busy/stressful situations. I enjoy engaging in arts and craft activities, sport, homework, and am happy to assist with light household duties if the need arises.

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hello! My name is Moca and I am a qualified primary school educator currently living in Melbourne on a working holiday visa. I have always loved working with children and a majority of my work experience has been in the domain of childcare. I've been a nanny, swim instructor, after-school care leader, and primary school teacher! While I love my work as a teacher, I am not always guaranteed work as a CRT and am looking to also work part-time (or full-time for the right family) as a nanny/babysitter. In my last job as a nanny in Canada, I worked with two children under 2 and still have a relationship with the two families I worked for. As a nanny, I love to do activities with the kids I am looking after as I believe getting them outside and in the community is very important for their development! I have training in first-aid and anaphylaxis, and am able to obtain references upon request. I look forward to hearing from you!

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

From a young age I begun babysitting for family friends and neighbours, carrying out the household duties, while building heart-warming connections with the children. Throughout the past few years I found myself incorporating my love for children within my career within the medical industry. I have been working as a dental nurse (Toothfairy) for children across all ages and backgrounds; special needs and sensory issues. I am currently living in Brunswick and have been working for a family with three children for the past 3 years. I have flexible availability and am looking for some more families to work with alongside my studies in psychology. I have a safe and suitable car, and a driver’s license. I also hold an up to date wwc, police check, first aid and car, and am great at completing household tasks and cooking alongside child care.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hello families, My name is Matthew and I am currently living in Brunswick, VIC. I am originally from Wales, UK and have lived in England, Thailand, and Ballarat with a move to Melbourne happening in early February with my partner and our daschund, Beau. I am currently looking for extra work outside of my teaching hours to support families and children, as well as use as an opportunity to further develop my professional skills in my practice. I have experience teaching in Early Childhood and Primary School settings with my rooted philosophy in supporting little ones with care, empathy, and respect. Through my experience in these educational settings, I understand the impact a strong and secure bond with a child has upon their health, wellbeing (mental and emotional), and social skills. Alongside this, my passion is inspiring children through a love of play, creativity, and learning. I enjoy making activities and setting experiences and excursions that would help the children engage, play, and laugh with. Working in childcare also helped me focus and develop my skill set on supporting children's emotional regulations and frustrations through a range of techniques including deep breathing, using stories and sensory toys as outlets, and simply being a safe and nurturing person to validate their feelings. Working and supporting children has always been a passion of mine and brings me so much joy and happiness. I look forward to working with you and your family to allow you to feel reassured alongside creating long lasting memories and special moments with your little one(s).

Looking for: Casual Babysitting

My name is Isabelle (Bella) and I am a 21-year-old student of Arts at the University of Melbourne. I grew up in Hobart, Tasmania with siblings 7 and 11 years younger than myself and three lovely border collie dogs. I have 7 years working with children as a babysitter and nanny. Most of my roles have required me to prepare meals and put the children to bed, as well as engage in a range of games and activities. I spent nine months last year travelling and living in Europe on my own, which contributed greatly to my independence and character. Two months of this time was spent living as an au pair in Rome, during which part of my role was to tutor the 14-year-old daughter of my host family. I am a friendly, creative, and worldly person, and very much look forward to meeting your family!

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hello wonderful families, My name is Indi, I am from Ballarat and moved to Melbourne at the beginning of last year to study a Bachelor of Science at The University of Melbourne. Last year I had the joy of caring for a beautiful family of three kids aged 5, 7 and 9 which involved school pickups and school holidays as well as engaging in different activites both indoors and outdoors and maintaining a regular routine for the family. I have also had regular work nannying an 8 month old and a 2 year old which helped me to become very creative in crafting new and entertaining activities. I am comfortable with completing jobs around the house and feel confident looking after kids of all ages. I am the second eldest of four so am used to a bit of chaos and busy environments. When nannying I enjoy getting outside to parks and playgrounds and coming up with new and enjoyable activites and games to play. Building strong connections with both children and parents is important to me, as I believe in fostering trust and open communication within the family dynamic. I look forward to getting to know new families and creating lasting bonds and memories. Thank you!! Indi

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi! My name is Eloise and I am a student who has recently moved from the ACT to Melbourne for work whilst I deffer my Bachelors in Biomedicine at the University of Melbourne. I am an experienced babysitter/nanny looking for regular work 1-3 days a week. I am an elder sister who has devoted much of my out-of school ours to child care, with a sister ten years my junior whom I help raise. Majority of my past babysitting clients have been with children on the younger side (ages 6 months - 5) but I am confident with kids of all ages. I love art and reading, so will definitely share and get your kids involved in creative activities (if they're willing of course)! I love animals, and am super comfortable around pets and larger families. I can comfortably put kids to bed and I have had experience with a couple tricky sleepers, so have a few tactics (special stories mainly) that I've found pretty useful in the past! I'm also a tutor, so can aid elder children and young teens with homework and study preparations etc. I also love to work and with infants and toddlers and have no problem getting creative and hands-on. I can cook and clean, and have a range of vegetarian recipes up my sleeve (and I can make a mean home-made secret-recipe pizza that is a fan favourite with the kids). I will be travelling mostly by public transport, so am more suited to home-based work that does not require me to use a car often for drop offs/pick ups etc. I do not currently have a Victorian WWCC - coming from interstate - however would be very happy to obtain one asap! I am also planning to undergo a first aid training course, however I do already have light general knowledge of child first aid (infant heimlich, burns etc; my parents are both medical doctors so raised us in a first-aid conscious household). Most of all I hope to find a fun-loving family whose daily routines I can settle in with. I look forward to hearing from you, and please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any further questions! Eloise x
