Hello, I'm Justine and I'm 25 years old. I finished my studies and I want to experience some place before to start to work. I love to take care of children and I have a lot of experience. Having worked in a nursery school in France and Los Angeles. I've also been an Au pair in a family in Los Angeles and New York, it was amazing ! You can be in touch with them if you need references. I'm in Sydney right now. I am able to keep them busy, do homework, take them to school, shower them... It is a real exchange between the child and me. He has as much to teach me as I do. I am not difficult to live with, and I will be happy to participate in your family life to help you. If you have any questions, you can contact me :) See you soon ! Justine

Looking for: Casual Babysitting

Hi families, my name is Sabine and I am from Austria. I’ve been in Australia on a working holiday visa since December 2022. Currently I’m in the process of getting a skilled visa as a teacher to stay permanently here! I work as a Casual Teacher Aide, thats why I’m not as flexible during the week. But could always fill in spontaneously if needed and I’m free ☺️ Back home I was a classroom teacher in a primary school. My main experience is with kids age 5 to 10. But I’m comfortable with every other age as well. Was twice an Aupair before. Looked after kids from a newborn to 8 years old.

Looking for: Casual Babysitting

With my background in working in a range of healthcare settings including a paediatric ward, children's residential homes and with children, young people and their families within their own home. My passion is supporting and empowering children and young people and I believe I would be a great fit within a nanny/babysitting role. I am a bubbly, outgoing person and can’t wait for this next adventure in my life living in Australia. I am very motivated inside and outside of my work and I have been very driven in each career path I have been on to date. I have great experience from home working with children, young people and their families as a social work assistant. Previous to this I worked on a paediatric ward in my local hospital for three years caring for new born babies to 16 years. I have a huge interest in Gaelic football which is hugely popular in Ireland. I enjoy spending time with my friends and family and going to the gym regularly. I am a big outdoors person and always up for trying new things. I am a huge animal lover and I have two dogs at home which I spend time taking on long walks at the beach or local parks. I helped my dad on the family farm caring for the animals. Growing up I spent a lot of time babysitting younger cousins on both my dad and mum’s side of the family. I worked on a paediatric ward for three years in a local hospital which I gained numerous skills from. I went onto study paediatric nursing and after a year of studying realised this was not the career path I wanted anymore. I began a new career as a social work assistant in my local community supporting children, young people and their families. I really enjoy my job and I hope to return to complete my social work degree in the future. I have a police check and a WWCC.

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Nanny with 18+ years experience passionate about working with the development and education of children. I have extensive experience with newborns, toddlers, children's up to age 10, multiples, nanny share, and disabilities.
Happy to keep log book for infant feeding, sleep, play, nappy change, and so on. Common questions parents ask their nannies during interviews: 1.) What inspired you to choose to work with young children? I was 18 and working in hospitality and not enjoying it. I watched an episode of Kids Say the Darnedest Things and said “every day working with kids would be one hilarious day after the next” The next week I landed a job at a daycare center working with the 3 year olds and I was right, everyday those kids would make me laugh out loud. But what has kept me in childcare is feeling that my job is directly nurturing the future of this world. 2.) What are you the most passionate about with your work? Education and physical development. I have a very good eye on how the physical body is developing and I’m very passionate about preventing physical problems by aiding the body to be used correctly when learning crawling, walking, etcetera. Education through play, where it does not feel like learning, is very important to me. A child feeling smart is the first step in them being smart. 3.) Which activities do you feel are important in a child's development during the early learning years? Interaction and repetition. Any games or activities interacting with others is key. Reading, singing, play time that incorporates multiple senses and movement like, paint, play-duh, sand and so on. For the under 1 year old, lots and lots of touch, singing, and exploring the outdoors. 4. Describe the most stressful situation you have been in when caring for children? Conflict with parents is always the most stressful part of childcare. Parents using positive reinforcement on negative behaviors ie: I make dinner for the children/ child, explaining this is what is for dinner, its ok if you don’t want it but that’s all there is for now. And then a parent coming in and giving the child a cookie. Telling a child he or she can do the next activity after they help tidy up but the parent comes in a gives them a new toy while there are 3 puzzles thrown across the floor. Explain the strategies you used to manage the issue. Communicating with the parent, explaining the situation with them and asking for their help to be able to do my job well. If you like my answers and you’d like to chat feel free to give me a call I look forward to talking to you about how I can best care for the needs of your family! Please provide email address and I will send you through my cv with a more detailed outline of my experiences.
