Hello! We are looking for a nurturing, fun and efficient Nanny to join our happy little family in Turramurra, caring for two sweet Boys, 5 (Kindy) and 7 (Yr1) yrs old, for weekly after-school care each:
- Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 2:30-6:00pm (usually continues during School holidays).
We were lucky enough to have had current lovely Nanny with our family for 3 yrs, She is now 21 yrs old, and will be finishing her time with us to travel.
The rate is $35/hour commensurate with experience and qualifications. If the hours and details interest you, we’d love to hear from you!
Typical day
Our typical after-school care routine involves:
2:30pm 🧺 v.light housework*: e.g. fold/put away laundry, tidy kitchen benchtops, dinner-prep (usually pre-made)
2:55pm 🚗 pick up from School (5 mins from home)
3:15pm 🛁 home, unpack, snack, bath time, pjs, free play
4:00pm ⚽️ if relevant, approx.time of extra-curricular** (30-40 min)
5:00pm 🍽 Dinner, tidy kitchen then org. for next day lunch boxes/bags/clothes
5:40pm 😌 Enjoy some quiet time, reading, watching TV… this is wind down time.
6:00pm 👍🏽 Handover to parents and have a great evening!***
* we are a tidy family and have cleaners, so housework is light, mostly kitchen and laundry to keep things running smoothly.
** we try to keep things simple during the week, so don't do much extracurricular just soccer training.
*** one parent will usually be WFH in office when you are with us, so you will have someone on hand if needed.
Essential
- NSW WWCC
- First aid certificate or willingness to do.
- Driver’s Licence (and own car preferred).
