Morning shift usually starts at 7.20 am and eve shift usually finishes by 6pm, however some degree of flexibility is required. Some -week to week- degree of flexibility to suit also the nanny's needs is considered and generally allowed (with adequate notice).
Duties:
Duties are mainly related to looking after the kids safely, taking them and bringing them from/to school +/- kid’s activities if applicable, preparing lunch & dinner for family and ensuring homework/ online lessons are done.
Minimal & light housework may be requested -occasionally- this children's related.

UPDATED: We are a professional family moving to the Lindfield area in MID MAY 2024 having lived in NZ for the last few years. We are looking for a reliable, mature, warm and organised nanny for our 3 children.
We require the applicant two days a week initially (Tuesdays and Thursdays 10-12hr days) to look after our baby (aged 11m) and do the kindie/school drop off/ pick up for the older two children (5, 3).
During the day the nanny will be with our youngest and can take her to activities but will also be asked to prepare dinner and help with putting out washing etc.
We have a little boy aged 5 who is inquisitive, loves sports and chess, a 3yo girl who loves drawing, stories, running and music and a baby who is just walking. We also have a mature groodle, aged 7, so you would need to be comfortable having a dog around the house.
We have a car for the nanny's use during the day but require applicants to have a driver's licence and excellent driving record.
Our most recent nanny in NZ was with us for 3.5yrs and only finished up due to our move back to Australia.

This is a short term position from 20th May - 29th June. We are looking for someone to look after our two daughters aged 8yrs and 10yrs after school 2-3 days a week during this time. The work would involve picking them up from school (Kings/Tara), give snacks, help with/supervise school work, get them ready for evening activities that we will take them to (e.g. soccer, netball, swimming - most of which start at 6pm).
