I own a lash and brow business which I started when I was 16 that is slowly becoming quite successful. I have experience with casual baby sitting for families in my local area and family friends. I absolutely adore children and would love to have the opportunity to be a part of a childs life while nurturing and caring for them. I am very disciplined with a great work ethic. I am first aid, cpr and defibrillator qualified. I don’t have a police check but I am more than happy to get one. Pay and hours are negotiable. ****SCHOOL HOLIDAY AVAILABILITY**** I have a tertiary qualification in history and have part completed a teaching degree. I have worked in schools and boarding schools, so I have had a lot of hands-on experience with children of all ages. I have references from both doctors and lawyers whose children have been under my care. I am highly experienced with children of all ages. I have raised my own daughter who is now 27. I am a big believer in making sure that little ones are as secure as I can make them feel when their parents can't be around. For the more confident, older ones there is lots of exploring, play, discovery and fun to be had! Perhaps there is some cooking we can do? I work on a combination of following and developing what interests them, together with opening up a new horizon of interests they haven't even tried yet! Sometimes life has to be serious - and boundaries are necessary. I have no problem with being 'bad cop' if I have to. If there is homework to be done, I can certainly provide guidance. I don't take to just sitting around all night whilst babysitting - so if there is some washing to sort and fold, send it my way. If you need school holiday help, I can be there for you too, as it is all a joy to me! Perhaps you are in desperate need of a weekend away with just your husband - then give me a call. The kids don't have a grandma who lives nearby - I would be more than happy to help fill the void :-). You may need some school holiday help, or perhaps you have had a new baby and just need a bit of helping hand and calm influence whilst you get yourself on track. I have just graduated from high school and planning on taking a gap year. During this time, I plan on working as both a gymnastics coach and finding other jobs. I coach a range of kids from 5-14 years old. I really enjoy teaching young kids new and exciting skills and watching them grow and become more comfortable in gymnastics.
