****SCHOOL HOLIDAY AVAILABILITY**** I have a tertiary qualification in history and have part completed a teaching degree. I have worked in schools and boarding schools, so I have had a lot of hands-on experience with children of all ages. I have references from both doctors and lawyers whose children have been under my care. I am highly experienced with children of all ages. I have raised my own daughter who is now 27. I am a big believer in making sure that little ones are as secure as I can make them feel when their parents can't be around. For the more confident, older ones there is lots of exploring, play, discovery and fun to be had! Perhaps there is some cooking we can do? I work on a combination of following and developing what interests them, together with opening up a new horizon of interests they haven't even tried yet! Sometimes life has to be serious - and boundaries are necessary. I have no problem with being 'bad cop' if I have to. If there is homework to be done, I can certainly provide guidance. I don't take to just sitting around all night whilst babysitting - so if there is some washing to sort and fold, send it my way. If you need school holiday help, I can be there for you too, as it is all a joy to me! Perhaps you are in desperate need of a weekend away with just your husband - then give me a call. The kids don't have a grandma who lives nearby - I would be more than happy to help fill the void :-).
