Meet Libby: A nanny and babysitter in Miami, QLD

Hi! I'm Libby! I'm originally from Tasmania but moved to the Gold Coast in February of 2023, as my boyfriend is an elite swimmer and is currently training for the Olympics. I am currently studying Paramedicine, meaning I have my First aid, CPR and Advanced Life support certificate, alongside a police check, working with children and vulnerable people card (blue card).

I've always felt a deep joy when working with children, their energy, curiosity and pure zest for life is infectious! Helping them learn, grow and navigate the world is incredibly rewarding. I find it's not just about teaching them, but it's also about learning from them. They teach me to stay open-minded, to be patient and to never lose my sense of fun! Working with children isn't just a job for me, it's a passion! I've had previous work experience working with children as a babysitter and dance teacher. As a dance teacher, I was able to share my passion and love for dance with students of all ages, and groups both large and small, including private sessions. It was amazing to see how much joy dance could create. I was able to witness their growth, not only in their technical skills but also their self-expression and confidence. It was truly rewarding to be a part of that journey. I am patient, empathetic, driven and committed to do my best.
