Meet Georgia: A nanny and babysitter in Clarkson, WA

Hi parents and carers,

My name is Georgia. I am 30 years old and have a current WA Working with Children Check, Childrens First Aid and references. I don’t drive but am happy and experienced walking multiple young children to nearby playgrounds and taking them on bus adventures to fun outings.

I currently nanny on Thursdays and Fridays for two lovely children aged 7 months and 4 years. With the children I give them meals and snacks, solids and bottles for the baby, ensure nappy changes. We play at home and normally go out via the train to playgrounds, libraries and sci tech. I’m happy following any kind of sleep routine for babies/ toddlers.

I worked for a few years at a before and after school care company, since then have mostly done babysitting/ nanny work. I did some regular after school care for a 7 year old boy. I helped out a friend with her four children ages 1,3,5 and 7 on Saturdays, she and her husband both worked Saturdays. During the week I did some casual hours at a children’s crèche, when it closed down I did a short term nanny job with a baby boy. Since then I have been in my current nanny job.

I am very gentle, patient, caring and engaging. I am very hard working and love to actually engage with children, I’m naturally very watchful of children I'm not one for sitting on my phone while with them, their safety and well-being is most important to me.

I am very experienced in looking after multiple young children. Happy to help with light laundry and dishes, and I always use my initiative in cleaning up after activities with children and picking up toys. I am a confident food prepper. Confident in doing dinner, bath time and bed time routine.

I am very familiar with gentle parenting and attachment parenting. I generally like to engage with children in a gentle and child led way.

I love to engage in arts and crafts, board games, sensory activities, reading, imaginative play, outside play and music. I love to be active with children and go to playgrounds, libraries, play centers and water splash pads when it’s hot! I always ensure hats and sunscreen and super organised at making sure everything needed is packed before we leave.

Experienced in babysitting children who have additional needs including Autism, Speech and Developmental delay, Behavioural/ emotional struggles.
